Active Ingredients & Layering — Safety (Additional Notice)

Some cosmetic actives — for example retinoids (retinol/retinal/retinoid esters), AHAs/BHAs/PHAs, benzoyl peroxide, and L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) — can cause irritation, dryness, or sensitivity, especially when combined or introduced too quickly.

• Introduce one new active at a time and follow the manufacturer’s directions.
• Do not combine multiple strong actives in the same routine unless you are experienced and your skin tolerates it.
• If redness, stinging, or irritation occurs, stop use. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice.
• Photosensitivity: certain actives (e.g., AHAs/retinoids) may increase sun sensitivity — use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, reapply as directed, and limit sun exposure.
• If you are under dermatological care or using prescription actives, consult your clinician before adding new products.
• Eyes & sensitive areas: avoid the immediate eye area and broken/compromised skin unless the product specifically states otherwise. 

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding (Additional Notice)

Do not use retinoids if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Seek professional guidance before using exfoliating acids or other potent actives during pregnancy or breastfeeding. 

Patch-Test Protocol (Additional Detail)

Apply a small amount to clean skin on the inner forearm (or behind the ear). Leave on as directed and observe for 24–72 hours. Do not proceed to full-face use if any irritation occurs. If a reaction develops, rinse immediately and discontinue use. 

Individual Results

Results may vary from person to person. Each individual’s skin type, environment, and usage habits can affect how a product performs.
